Orders & Payments

Placing an order is simple. Browse our collections, select the piece you love, choose your size or variant (if applicable), and click "Add to Cart." Once you're ready, head to checkout, enter your delivery address and payment details, and confirm your order. You'll receive an order confirmation via email and WhatsApp shortly after.

We accept a wide range of payment options for your convenience:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • Net banking
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • EMI (on eligible cards and order values)
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — available across most pin codes
  • Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay, and others)

Yes, Cash on Delivery is available across most serviceable pin codes in India. A nominal COD fee may apply at checkout. All COD orders require confirmation via SMS or WhatsApp before dispatch — our team may reach out to verify your order. Unverified orders may be cancelled automatically.

Please ensure your registered phone number is reachable after placing a COD order.

You can request a modification or cancellation before your order is dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be modified or cancelled. To request a change, please contact our support team immediately at support@taraahjewels.com or via WhatsApp with your order number.

Personalised and custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Order confirmation emails and WhatsApp messages are sent immediately after a successful order. If you haven't received one, please check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's still missing, write to us at support@taraahjewels.com with your registered email or phone number and we'll look into it right away.

This can occasionally happen due to a network issue or bank delay. In most cases, the amount is automatically refunded within 5–7 business days if the order wasn't created. If you don't receive a refund or confirmation within that window, please share your payment screenshot and registered details with our support team and we will resolve it promptly.

Yes! Apply your coupon code in the "Discount Code" field at checkout before completing payment. Only one coupon code can be applied per order. Coupon codes cannot be applied retroactively after an order has been placed.

If your coupon code isn't working, check that it hasn't expired, that your cart meets the minimum value requirement, and that the items in your cart are eligible for the offer.

Yes, EMI options are available on eligible credit cards and select payment instruments on orders above a minimum value. Available EMI tenures and interest rates (if any) are displayed at checkout depending on your bank and card type. EMI is currently not available for COD or wallet payments.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed within 24–48 hours and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery timelines after dispatch are:

  • Metro cities: 2–4 business days
  • Rest of India: 3–6 business days

Customised or made-to-order pieces may take additional time. Delivery times may vary slightly due to courier or location constraints.

Yes — all prepaid orders above ₹499 enjoy free shipping. A nominal shipping fee may apply on lower-value orders or COD orders. The exact shipping charge (if any) will be displayed at checkout before you complete payment.

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link via WhatsApp, SMS, and email. You can use this link to monitor your shipment in real-time until it reaches your door. If you haven't received tracking details within 3 business days of placing your order, please reach out to our support team.

Address changes can only be accommodated before dispatch. Once your order has been shipped, the delivery address cannot be modified. Please contact us immediately at support@taraahjewels.com with your order number if you need to update your address.

Our courier partner will typically make up to 3 delivery attempts. After failed attempts, the package may be held at a local hub or returned to us. If your order is returned to origin (RTO), our team will contact you to arrange a re-delivery — which may involve an additional shipping charge.

Please ensure your registered phone number is active and your address is accurate to avoid delivery failures.

Yes, we deliver to most pin codes across India through our trusted logistics partners. In rare cases, some remote or non-serviceable pin codes may not be covered. If your pin code isn't serviceable, you'll be notified at checkout or our team will reach out to find an alternative solution.

We're sorry to hear that! Please first check with neighbours or building reception in case it was handed to them. If the package is still not found, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery status update with your order ID and we'll raise a dispute with the courier on your behalf and resolve it as quickly as possible.

Returns & Refunds

We offer a 10-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unworn, and returned in its original condition with all original packaging, tags, and certificates intact.

The following items are not eligible for return unless received in a defective or incorrect condition: personalised jewellery, earrings, nose pins, coins, gifting articles, and free or promotional items.

You can initiate a return in two ways:

  • Through your account on our website under "My Orders"
  • By contacting our customer support team at support@taraahjewels.com or via WhatsApp

Once your request is raised, our courier partner will schedule a reverse pickup from your address. Please ensure you are available and reachable during the pickup window.

Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and passes our quality inspection. Once approved, refunds are typically credited within 5–7 business days to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Card/UPI/net banking payments: refunded to the same account
  • COD orders: refunded via bank transfer (KYC may be required)
  • Wallet payments: refunded to the same wallet only

We sincerely apologise for this. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item and its packaging. We'll prioritise a resolution — whether that's a replacement, exchange, or full refund — and ensure it's sorted as quickly as possible.

Yes, exchanges are available for eligible products and are subject to the same conditions as returns. Once the original item is picked up and received at our end, the replacement order will be processed and dispatched. If there is any price difference between the items, the applicable amount will be charged or refunded accordingly.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. The refund amount will reflect the product price as per your original invoice. If you are located in a pin code where reverse pickup isn't available and you self-ship the return, we will reimburse up to ₹70 towards your shipping cost.

For hygiene reasons, earrings and nose pins are not eligible for return unless they were received in a defective or incorrect condition. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please write to us with photographs and we'll be happy to assist.

If the pickup attempt fails due to unavailability or unanswered calls, the return request may be cancelled and will need to be re-initiated. Please ensure you are available and reachable during the scheduled pickup window. If your pin code is not serviceable for reverse pickup, we'll guide you on self-shipping the item back to us.

At Taraah Jewels, we work primarily with:

  • 925 Sterling Silver — 92.5% pure silver, the highest purity used in wearable jewellery
  • Gold plated silver — sterling silver base plated with 18k gold for a rich, lasting finish
  • Gemstone pieces — featuring natural semi-precious stones as well as lab-created alternatives, clearly indicated in each product description

Yes. All our silver jewellery is made with 925 Sterling Silver, which is 92.5% pure silver — the internationally recognised standard for silver jewellery. The remaining 7.5% consists of alloys (typically copper) that are added to improve strength and durability, since pure silver is too soft on its own.

The longevity of gold plating depends on how frequently the piece is worn and how well it is cared for. With proper use and storage, our gold plated pieces are designed to maintain their finish for a significant period. To extend the life of the plating:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfume, sweat, and chemicals
  • Store in an airtight pouch or box when not wearing
  • Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or exercising

It varies from piece to piece. Many of our gemstone collections feature natural semi-precious stones, while some designs use high-quality lab-created or synthetic stones. This is always clearly mentioned in the individual product description. If you're unsure about a specific piece, write to us and we'll confirm the details.

Our jewellery is crafted from 925 Sterling Silver, which is widely considered hypoallergenic and safe for most skin types. That said, individual sensitivities vary. If you have a known metal allergy (particularly to copper or nickel), we recommend checking the product composition listed on the product page or consulting our team before purchasing.

We make every effort to photograph our jewellery accurately. However, slight variations in colour or appearance may occur due to differences in screen brightness, display calibration, and lighting conditions. The actual piece may look slightly different in person — often even more beautiful! If you feel the product is significantly different from what was shown, please share a photo with our team.

Select pieces in our collection come with a certificate of authenticity. Details of certification (if applicable) are mentioned on the individual product page. All our silver jewellery meets the 925 Sterling Silver standard.

Yes. Taraah Jewels offers a warranty against manufacturing defects on our pieces. If you notice a defect within the warranty period, please reach out with your order details and photographs. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Specific warranty terms are mentioned on the product page where applicable.

Custom & Personalised Jewellery

Yes! We offer personalised jewellery including name engravings, monograms, and custom designs on select pieces. Look for the "Personalise" option on eligible product pages. You can enter your text or customisation preference, and our team will craft it especially for you.

Personalised and made-to-order pieces take longer than standard orders since each piece is crafted individually. Typical production time is 5–10 business days, after which standard delivery timelines apply. The estimated dispatch date will be shared with you at the time of order confirmation.

Personalised and custom pieces are not eligible for return or exchange, as they are made specifically for you. The only exception is if the piece was received with a manufacturing defect or an error on our part — in which case we will replace it at no charge. Please review your customisation details carefully before confirming the order.

Personalised orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placement, before production begins. Once our craftsmen have started work on your piece, cancellations are not possible. To request a cancellation within this window, contact us immediately at support@taraahjewels.com.

Jewellery Care

Silver naturally oxidises over time when exposed to air and moisture. To keep your pieces looking their best:

  • Store in an airtight pouch or zip-lock bag when not in use
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays
  • Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercising
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing
  • Keep away from direct sunlight and humid environments

Yes! Light tarnishing on silver is completely normal and can be easily restored. Gently rub the piece with a soft silver polishing cloth in circular motions. For deeper tarnish, a mild soap and warm water solution with a soft brush can help — just ensure the piece is completely dried afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaners or toothpaste as they can scratch the surface.

Gold plated pieces require a little more care to preserve the finish:

  • Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfume, and chemicals at all times
  • Store separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching
  • Do not use abrasive materials to clean
  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear
  • Keep away from extreme temperatures and humidity

Our sterling silver pieces are durable enough for everyday wear with proper care. Gold plated pieces are best worn occasionally and cared for diligently to preserve their finish over time. Each product page includes a care recommendation to help you get the most out of your piece.

Store each piece individually in the pouch or box it comes in, or in a soft-lined jewellery box. Keeping pieces separate prevents scratching and tangling. For silver pieces, storing in airtight zip-lock bags significantly slows down tarnishing. Avoid storing jewellery in bathrooms due to moisture and humidity.

Account & Security

No, you can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, we recommend creating a Taraah Jewels account so you can easily track your orders, save your addresses, view your purchase history, and manage returns — all in one place.

Click on "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. You'll receive a password reset link in your inbox within a few minutes. If you don't see it, please check your spam folder. If the issue persists, contact our support team and we'll help you regain access.

Absolutely. Our website uses secure HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted on the platform. We do not store your card number, CVV, or banking credentials — all payment transactions are processed through trusted, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Log into your account and navigate to "My Profile" or "Addresses" to update your personal details and saved delivery addresses. For security reasons, some changes (such as registered email or phone number) may require verification. If you need help, contact our support team.

If you'd like to delete your Taraah Jewels account and all associated data, please write to us at privacy@taraahjewels.com with your registered email address and the subject "Account Deletion Request." We'll process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
